Press In is small on purpose. These guidelines are the agreement that keeps it that way — what you can expect from us, what we ask of each other, and what simply has no room here. They apply across the whole suite: Press In, Anchor, Blend My World, and The Vault.
Everything here is built on the belief that your attention belongs to you. We don't optimize for time-on-site, streaks, or outrage. Members extend the same courtesy to each other: no baiting, no brigading, no manufacturing urgency.
No one — person, feature, or partner — gets access to your data, your profile, or your attention without a named, explicit permission from you. Silence means no. A permission you don't use lapses on its own.
Check-ins, reading habits, and taste profiles are private unless you choose to share them. You may participate under an alias. What you do in Press In is yours; the default answer to 'who can see this?' is 'only you.'
Every piece that reaches a feed has passed a human curator whose decisions are logged. Recommendations may be assisted by machine learning, but no algorithm publishes alone. If you believe something was surfaced carelessly, say so — the record is reviewable.
These guidelines change the way the suite changes — slowly, and in the open. When we revise them, the revision is dated, summarized in plain language, and announced inside the app before it takes effect. Nothing here is ever rewritten quietly.

Version 1 · September 2026
Press In runs on its own. Take the quiz, get a season profile, and read a feed of writing, radio, and objects tuned to it. No account required.
Press In comes first. With Anchor, your profile follows you and your consent stays honest. With Blend My World, you can share a piece from the feed as yourself or as a stranger. With The Vault, every image in the feed carries its provenance.
